The humidifier cannot be blamed for “humidifier pneumonia”

The humidifier can really alleviate the discomfort caused by dry indoor air and low humidity. However, if it is used improperly, it may also cause respiratory diseases in our body, which is called “humidifier pneumonia” in medicine. This is because harmful microorganisms enter the human respiratory tract after being atomized by the humidifier and cause a series of respiratory diseases caused by inflammation, such as cold, bronchitis, asthma, etc. The common manifestations are nasal congestion, cough, expectoration, asthma, fever, etc.

In fact, the existence of “humidifier pneumonia” is not the fault of the humidifier itself, but the result of improper use of the humidifier, such as:

1) If the humidifier is not cleaned in time, it is easy to absorb and breed bacteria and viruses, and then become water mist containing bacteria through the humidifier, which is inhaled into the respiratory tract, thus causing various respiratory diseases.

2) The humidification time is too long, which makes the air humidity too high, which is conducive to the growth of bacteria and viruses in the air, and enters the lungs with breathing, causing respiratory symptoms.

3) The water quality used by the humidifier is poor, which contains bacteria and viruses. If the water mist with bacteria is inhaled into the lungs through the humidifier, it may also cause a series of respiratory diseases.

Most commodities are developed and produced only when there is demand, and they enter our daily life with their own mission. As for the use effect, we should also make a comprehensive judgment based on whether the use method is reasonable. If it doesn’t work, or the disadvantages outweigh the advantages, it will be upgraded and optimized continuously, or eliminated by the market directly. What we need to do is to make rational use of all the tools around us to make our living environment better
